Organized by the China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT), the 7th International Conference on Mining Science and Technology (ICMST2015), will be held at CUMT in Xuzhou, China on April 26-29, 2015. Now the ICMST2015 organizing committee is calling for papers. Experts and scholars both in China and overseas in the field of mining science and technology are welcome to submit abstracts and papers. The theme of the Conference is “Ecology, Safety and Sustainable Development of Modern Mines”. The Conference will be a platform for experts and scholars to discuss issues related to the latest research developments and prospects in mining science and technology, as well as to address opportunities and challenges we face in this area today.
ICMST2015 will establish two awards --- Award for Excellence in ICMST Papers and Award for Excellence in Youth ICMST Papers. Those papers of excellence will be recommended for publication by specialized academic journals.
Green mining and ecological mines (containing energy strategies)
Mine safety and occupational health
Geo-mechanics and geo-environmental engineering
Clean coal technology and low-carbon utilization
Intelligent mining equipment and technology
Exploitation of mineral resources and new energy (containing mineral economics)
The Conference focuses on discussions with the aim of providing participants from around the world with a platform for academic exchanges. Participants are welcome to contribute full papers or alternatively, to contribute extended abstracts. Contents can be complete research results in a certain field or a description of research developments and results as well as overview, prospects or new findings related to a project. Full papers will be peer-reviewed with comments. Outstanding papers will be recommended for publication at the International Journal of Mining Science and Technology. When writing, please refer to the templates, which can be downloaded from the Conference website.
Conference presentation abstracts are also to be included in the poster sessions. Microsoft PowerPoint is required for oral presentation. Please submit the file attachment in Microsoft Word format online.

Full papers and final extended abstracts due Feb 15, 2015
Abstracts of all accepted contributions will be included within the E-version abstract book which will be distributed to all registered conference participants.
The working language of the Conference is English, therefore all papers and abstracts shall be written in English, and oral presentations at the Conference shall also be in English.
